Number Limit   

Tassie is a great place for bushwalking.  After 4 very successful annual trips to Tasmania we are going back again in 2027. Usually, these annual Tassie trips are basically a series of daywalks or 2 half day walks on the same day and we stay in motels ot cabins. But this year we are also doing the Three Capes Track which is a 4 day throughwalk but on this walk we do stay in Cabins.

The walks are of various difficulty from easy-medium to medium hard. As a guide to the difficulty the walks are similar to the Shipstern Circuit or Mt Maroon so within the capability of most members. Plus, we will do a few picnic walks. The Tassie trips over last 4 years have been very very successful and enjoyable and we have been blessed as we have had very good weather, so please consider coming along.

I already have 4 booked in on the trip and 2 maybes, I suspect we may need to have a limit of 8 on the trip due to logistical issues so please get in soon or miss out.  It may be many years before the Club visits these places again.

Please note the Itinerary that was previously advised in the May 2026 magazine has been completely revamped after our zoom meeting in May and we are now concentrating on the south of the Island and doing the Three Capes Track. The revised Itinerary is set out below

The trip does include airfares etc so they do cost money but overall they are very good value.  Please nominate by 31^st July as we need to book flights, book car rentals and accommodation.
