Growl Theatre Company, a community theatre group based in Windsor, is putting on a comedy play “Breath of Spring” which sounds like a lot of fun. The write-up about the play on the above website states:

“A charming comedy of manners, mischief, and mink.

Breath of Spring is a delightful mid-century comedy of manners with a mischievous twist. Dame Beatrice receives a stole from her maid, a woman with a checkered past. Beatrice is left suspecting that the mink’s been fleeced. A former army officer and other lodgers in her building endeavour to return the stole, but they realize they love the intrigue so much that they form a syndicate for stealing and returning furs. What follows is a web of secretive scheming, plot-hatching and cat-burgling.”

The best spots for parking would be either in the car park of the Crown Hotel, with just a short walk along Lutwyche Road to the theatre, or in Maygar Street or in other side streets in Windsor.

The Northern Busway runs directly behind the hall, so there are frequent buses stopping at the Truro Street bus stop opposite the hall itself.

We currently have a block booking of 16 seats for the play, but the theatre group will require final confirmation of numbers by Friday 30^th so please advise me as soon as possible about attendance, in case further tickets may be required before that date, if still available. Tickets can be paid for on the night at the theatre, either by cash or eftpos. There will be a limited range of drinks and snacks available at the School of Arts, but no hot drinks.
