Every year we have a working bee at the club hut. There is a choice of either coming in for the day on Saturday or staying for the weekend. Those staying for the weekend have the option of either sleeping on the bunks in the hut or bringing a tent to pitch in the paddock. The main task is to mow the grass in the hut paddock and clear lantana from around the edges of the paddock. There is also a small amount of painting to do, spring cleaning inside the hut, clearing the roof gutters and some other minor maintenance.

If you haven’t been to the hut before this is your chance. Come and enjoy this lovely peaceful location with great company and help keep the club hut in good condition and bushfire safe. No particular skills are needed and you are free to choose how long you will work.
