Day 0 Saturday 30 January
  Travel:
  Fly Brisbane → Nelson (via Auckland, Christchurch or Wellington depending on airline schedules). Please book your own flights.
  Arrive in Nelson and check into accommodation (currently working on the booking).
  Evening:
    Group meet‑and‑greet in Nelson
    Dinner in town
    Early night before the early morning shuttle to Mārahau
 
Day 1 — Sunday 31 January
  Transport: Shuttle Nelson → Mārahau 
  Luggage drops at the Accommodation (currently working on the booking).
  Walk: Mārahau → Anchorage (12.4 km) 
  Water Taxi: Anchorage → Mārahau (3:30–4:30 pm)
  Check-in to accommodation before 6:00 pm

Day 2 — Monday 1 February
  Walk: Bark Bay → Anchorage (11.5 km) 
  Water Taxis:
    9:00 am Mārahau → Bark Bay
    4:00 pm Anchorage → Mārahau
 
Day 3 — Tuesday 2 February
  Walk: Bark Bay → Awaroa (~14 km)
  Water Taxis:
    9:00 am Mārahau → Bark Bay 9:30 am
    3:00 pm Awaroa → Mārahau
  Highlights
    Tonga Quarry
    Onetahuti Beach
    Tonga Island views
    Fresh wood‑fired pizza at Awaroa Lodge — legendary stop, Coffee, beer, bakery items, Outdoor deck

Day 4 — Wednesday 3 February
  Walk: Totaranui → Whariwharangi (14–20 km return) depending on our pace.
  Water Taxis:
    9:00 am Mārahau → Totaranui
    4:00 pm Totaranui → Mārahau
  Highlights
    Northern section of the park
    Whariwharangi Hut & historic homestead; if we go fast.
    Remote beaches
  Elevation: ~400–500 m ascent

Day 5 — Thursday 4 February (REST DAY)
  Relax in Mārahau: Check out at 10 am then beach, paddleboards, cafés, BBQ.
  Transport: Shuttle 2:20 pm arrive Nelson 3:50 pm
  Fairwell evening meal in Nelson and stay the night
 
Day 6 — Friday 5 February
  Travel: Nelson->Airport to Fly home. Please book your flight.
 
Bring your standard day walk needs of food for the walks (or buy
from the shop).
 
Make sure your hiking gear like shoes, gators…etc are cleaned very well (especially insects) to avoid any delays in Airports
