This Stroll is one thought up by Rose O’Brien in our early days of Strolling. It covers some nice easments, tracks at the foot of Mt G and a once very nice suburb (now a nice old suburb), and onwards to the Upper Mt G Busway Stn at Garden City.

The first half is through bush and the trails on the lower levels of Mt Gravatt. Perhaps some exploring! Not many of these tracks we have done before. All through virgin bush.

Once off The Mount, there is a bit of bushland park, then suburbia in streets named after some famous past sports stars – golfers, cricketers, tennis players. Then it is hop, skip & a jump to Garden City.

The heights go from 27m to 114m maximum – only a 87m over the 8km.
