The Bulimba Golf Club is an attractive golf course surrounded by Vic Lucas Park with stunning views of the Brisbane River. For those who enjoy the pleasure of a late afternoon ride along the Brisbane River via the City Cat, the Bulimba Ferry terminal is a short 11-minute, 800 metre walk away.

Established in 1963, Bulimba Golf Club began as a pitch-and-putt and has transformed into an inner-city riverside gem with an 18-hole golf course and lots of sporting facilities.  But thankfully it also doubles as a great social spot with a charming restaurant where you can relish Chef Deeban Kumar’s tasty creations. This dining experience is all about quality, not quantity which explains why meals are served from Thursday to Sunday inclusive.

For those of you used to the Club tradition of coffee nights on Wednesday evenings, this is the perfect opportunity to step out on a Thursday evening and see the difference. Maybe it is more bustling, superior food and a more dynamic atmosphere. The menu is quite short but will undoubtedly suit most taste buds and is reasonably priced.

Come along and join me for a pleasant evening on a different day of the week at a slightly unusual venue for our April Coffee night. If you choose to travel on the City Cat, the journey home will be striking with the magnificent city lights and vibrant atmosphere.

HOW TO GET THERE

Arrive by the River

Take the City Cat (or cross river ferry from Teneriffe) to the Oxford Street terminal and walk down to the end of Quay Street, a leisurely stroll of about 600 metres.

By Bus
Take the Route 230, 231 232 or 235 bus to the corner of Quay and Brisbane St and walk 250 meters down to the end of Quay Street.

By Car

Drive to the large car park at the end of Quay Street, Bulimba. Follow Oxford Street to the river and take the last turn on the right into Quay Street. Bulimba Golf Club is at the end of Quay Street.
