We will meet at Arana Leagues Club for a relaxed evening of dinner, coffee and conversation. There will be plenty of opportunity to catch up with fellow bushwalkers, enjoy a meal and have a good chat in comfortable surroundings.

There is also some interesting local history behind our venue. According to Arana Leagues Club, its story began on Australia Day 1969, when a group of local parents established the West Arana Hills Junior Rugby League Club. In 1972 the club moved to the Dawson Parade site, which was then described as a vacant cow paddock. After considerable community fundraising, construction of the clubhouse began in 1974, and a major expansion followed in 1994.

So, for one evening, the walking boots can stay at home while we enjoy a social night at a venue with more than half a century of local community history.
