The walk begins from the Cedar Creek Road car park, where we will follow a dirt path toward the creek. After passing a private property sign, the trail becomes a rock-hopping adventure along Cedar Creek.  Pass several small waterfalls and clear pools — ideal for a quick dip. After ~1 km, we will reach Cedar Creek Falls, a popular swimming spot, a great spot for a quick swim or rest.

From there, we will continue upstream and take a right turn onto Love Creek, which leads to the beautiful Love Creek Falls. The terrain is rough and unmarked, requiring navigation over slippery boulders, fallen trees, and creek crossings. After ~1.5 km, we’ll reach Love Creek Falls, a stunning cascade surrounded by mossy rocks and dense forest.

A gully on the northern side allows access to the top of the falls, but it involves tricky scrambling and is only recommended for very experienced hikers. Also, there is an option to turn left on the way back and enjoy further waterfalls.

On the track we will decide on the morning tea spot and lunch break; all depending on our progress. Then we will Retrace our steps down Love Creek and Cedar Creek to return to the trailhead.

Bring the usual daily requirements as well as gloves, bug repellent, swimmers and a towel.
