Those used to catching the train to Kippa Ring may find this Stroll a bit familiar; but not at this time of day (a cool afternoon with no hot sun burning down on one) and with the light low on the horizon. Nothing like mid-winter for a brisk Stroll through green parks and across an inlet.

There is Drain Creek all the way from the Station to the Bay and then from there a bridge all the way to Brighton. The Stroll is simplicity itself, with the only hill being on the Ted Smout Bridge where boats can pass under it.

You may have done it before; however, each time is different – season, weather, time of day, day of week, angle of the sun, the people you are with, what you see along the way – everything is different, so why not come along to experience the differences.
